Stella & Chewy's

Stella & Chewy's was founded in 2002 by Marie Moody with the same motivation as was DodgerzDen. Both were inspired from caring for a sick pet which led to the desire to improve their health and quality of life through nutrition. Both came to the same conclusion that the best nutrition possible was to provide the closest diet that nature intended.

Stella & Chewy's uses only free-range, USDA-inspected, approved-for-human-consumption meats (muscle meat and organs) which contain no added hormones or antibiotics.They use only organic produce, where possible, with real ground bone (NOT bonemeal) added to all diets. They do not “water down” the nutritional content of their food by packing it full of grains that your pet does not need and cannot fully utilize. Probiotic bacteria are added to all diets to promote healthy digestion.

Stella & Chewy’s products contain no preservatives, no chemicals, no dyes or colorings and no sugar or salt. Their products are preserved through flash freezing and freeze-drying. Their diets provide 100% complete and balanced nutrition for your pet, fully meeting the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO. They are not only complete in vitamin, mineral, fat, carbohydrate and protein content, but are also balanced in the all-important calcium/phosphorous ratio and naturally occurring taurine levels that are so essential to your cat's well being.

Stella & Chewy’s is the first pet food company to use a revolutionary technology called the Hydrostatic High Pressure Process to kill pathogens without harming the taste or nutritional value of the food. All of their manufacturing is done at their own plant, so that they may control the process every step of the way-- ensuring the safest product possible. They also have every batch of food tested for Salmonella and E. coli at an independent lab and post the results on their website for their customers to see.
